Welcome to fifth grade! My name is Carla Barker. This will be my fifth year teaching 5th grade at BME! This year I will be teaching your student math and science.

I was born and raised here, in North Carolina. I received my bachelors in education from   Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. My husband, Tyler,  and I love to take our dogs hiking, kayaking, and camping. 

I look forward to this school year and I can't wait to work with you and your student!
