Hello, my name is Darbi Billington. I am originally from New York but have lived in North Carolina for 20 years.  I am a graduate of East Carolina.  Go Pirates! I have a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Reading. This is my seventh year teaching 3rd grade here at Gurganus.  I have been married for 33 years and have three children (or should I say men) ranging from ages 21 - 32. I also have four dogs, two turtles, and one cat. When I am not at school, I like to read, travel, and spend time with my family.

I have decided to continue to deliver live meetings twice a day. We will focus on math instruction during our morning meetings and language arts during our afternoon meetings. I will alternate between science and social studies units throughout the term and will continue to deliver instruction using recorded video.
