I'm Kaitlyn Hatcher. I am very excited to be the School Counselor at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School.

I live in New Bern, North Carolina with my husband. I am originally from Michigan but lived in Northern Virginia for almost 17 years where I attended college and met my husband.  I attended George Mason University and received my Bachelors in Social Work in 2010 and attended Marymount for my Masters in School Counseling in 2013.

In my free time I enjoy spending with my husband and our families and friends.

This year I will be working with all students either in a classroom, group or individual setting. I will be covering topics such as bullying, manners, tattling, being safe on the internet and feelings. I will work together with teachers and administration to make sure that all children have a successful  school year.
